to put your left little toe in it, I made this cooking video,which refers to the Tasty facebook video's. Through this video I want to criticise the "I have my life together" image what you always see on social media.

Symbol: Lady Gaga Latex Black

I picked the black triangle pyramid object to make this object. Based on my association
of the colour of the object: Lady Gaga Latex black. Inspired by Gaga's iconic fashion
style and how she calls her fan base "little monsters" I made this symbol in illustrator.

Do you remember how it was like to be a young teenager? Juul is 13 year old girl from my neigbourhood. The age where she is in, I find very intruiging because it’s when you’re slowly turn into a grown up adult where your voice, interests, behaviour, vocabulary, style and body changes. This state of life between childhood and adulthood is fascinating. A time full of insecurities but also no worries. A time that will pass you, before you know it. It’s when you start to unfold yourself bit by bit and start to position yourself in the wide world.

China sisters

“Don’t you want to meet your real parents?”
“Is your sister your real sister?”
“Do you want to go back to China?”

Some of the questions that are often asked when I tell people that I have been adopted. ‘China Sisters’, a project about my adoption group, consisting of girls adopted from China. In 1998 and 2001 our parents went together to China to take us with them. I visited the families in Roelofarendsveen (NL), Eigenbilzen (BE), Amstelveen (NL) and Venlo (NL) to talk with the girls about adoption and their personal experiences with it.
